Bank News & Releases

Nixon, Texas – Nixon State Bank announced today the launch of its online banking services at nixonstatebank.com.  The bank’s new website offers customers online access to their accounts as well as online bill pay services through the bank’s Bill Pay Plus platform.  The online banking platform is hosted by the bank’s core processing provider Precision Computer Systems of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  The website has been built over the past several months by Goldleaf Financial Services.

Chief executive officer Brad S. Akin expressed the bank’s excitement over the launch of the new website.  “We have been working on this for a long time and are very excited to provide online banking services to our customers. We hope that our website will make banking with us easy and efficient for everyone.”

The bank has targeted January 20, 2009 as the first day that the website and online banking platforms will be available to customers.  The signup process has been designed to make access to online services quick and painless for new users.  Akin encouraged all of the bank’s customers to visit nixonstatebank.com and sign up for online banking.  “We hope that it’s a tool that everyone will eventually take advantage of.  The idea is to make the banking experience a pleasant one for all of our customers.  Of course, for those who want to bank the traditional way, well, that’s what we’ve been doing for over one hundred years and we intend to keep doing it for a hundred more.  The phones still work and our doors are still open.”
